A Landmark Transformation in Manchester’s Creative Heart

This summer, Manchester welcomes the rebirth of one of its most iconic heritage sites, and we’re proud to be part of the team bringing it back to life.

Working alongside Allied London, TJM Projects has played a central role in the transformation of the Grade II-listed Campfield Market Halls. These remarkable Victorian buildings, steeped in history and character, are being reimagined as a dynamic new creative campus in the heart of Castlefield.

The Lower Campfield Hall, formerly home to the Science and Industry Museum’s aerospace collection has undergone extensive restoration and now features vibrant workspaces for media businesses, as well as Campfield House: a central café-bar serving artisanal coffee by day and cocktails by night. Weekend markets and food stalls will also bring a new social buzz to the area.

Next door, the Upper Hall becomes Campfield Studios, offering flexible event space, production studios, and a stunning atrium available for hire.

And between them, Castlefield House is being thoughtfully repurposed by TJM Projects into a fully equipped media post-production hub.

This is more than a refurbishment, it’s a reinvention of space and spirit. Campfield is set to become a must-visit destination for creatives, visitors and locals alike, buzzing with culture, commerce and community.

We’re delighted to have contributed to a project that honours the past while building something exciting for Manchester’s future.
